Who I Am
I am a flutist, teacher, and clinician based in Athens, Georgia, where I am a second-year Doctoral student and Graduate Assistant at the University of Georgia, Hugh Hodgson School of Music. I also have experience as an adjudicator, clinician, and working in outreach and arts administration. I am originally from Bradenton, Florida, where I spent my childhood playing piano, cello, and dancing, in addition to my flute studies. I have been playing the flute for 15 years and I have 7 years of private teaching experience. As the daughter of a lifelong music educator, I have a strong passion for education, and teaching my students is always a highlight of my day. When I'm not in the practice room, classroom, office, or concert hall, I enjoy taking dance class, watching gymnastics, and spending time with my friends and family!
